Girls Volleyball

Our girl's volleyball team competes in Division III for the MAAC league. Please read below for the season information and fill out all documents before the first practice.

Practice: Two days a week, Monday and Tuesday, from 3:15-4:30 pm at the school gym.  Our first practice will be on August 20. The game schedule will be posted on this page and sent out once finalized. 

Season: Mid-August - Mid-October 

Fees: $280.00 

Team Expectations: 

  1. All interested players should be ready to learn and have an interest in playing volleyball with their classmates.

  2. All skill levels are welcome. If we have too many players for the amount of teams/coaches there will be an evaluation process.

  3. Players are expected to attend all practices unless sick or injured. Players and or parents must communicate with the head coach/AD for excused absences. If any practices are canceled, parents will be notified through GroupMe.

Clothing & Equipment:

Players will be responsible for wearing the appropriate clothing and gear to each practice and game. This includes tennis shoes, athletic clothing, knee pads, and a water bottle.  Each player will be provided with their team uniform before the first game and will need to be returned at the end of the season.

Transportation:

The school will provide transportation to away games. If school transportation is not available, parents will be responsible for getting their players to the game. Parents will be notified if transportation is not available.

Team Communication:

Our primary form of communication will be through the GroupMe app. You can expect any schedule changes or practice updates here. Once we have the official roster you will be added to the team to receive notifications. Please make sure to download this app. In addition to GroupMe, emails will be sent out for longer updates.

Parent Volunteers/Coaching:

This season, we will need parent volunteers for home games to be line judges. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact kparchment@adsatlanta.org
